Daffodil Day Today we planted some miniature daffodil bulbs. They look like onions, and they are dormant now. They are tucked into some potting mix, with a bit of fertilizer, to feed them. First they will grow roots to hold them in place, and to get water and nutrients. (Plant food) Near the end of Winter, tall green leaves will appear, and finally they will have yellow or white daffodil flowers. Daffodils are a sign of hope and happiness, because Spring time is near. We have to water them, and keep them in the sun, and we can look forward to the lovely daffodils.
Welcome to the blog for C6 Glenholme School 2015. We want to share our learning, achievements, and progress with you. Now we are publishing our own work under the 'Our Writing' label, so please forgive us if there are a few little mistakes. Remember to leave a positive comment for the children, to encourage them.
