The Discovery.

After we thought about all the evidence, we asked Tyler some more questions. No-one was getting even warm, so Mrs Caudwell gave us some clues. It was cooking water, but we couldn't guess what was cooked in blue water. Eventually Carter guessed lettuce, and then Amaru correctly guessed cabbage. Everyone was very surprised, as cabbage is light green. Well, green is made by mixing yellow and blue, so that explains it.

An Unknown Liquid.

This morning Tyler bought a container to show us, which held an unknown liquid. We had to guess what it was. It looked just like dark blue water, and was slightly opaque. Mrs Caudwell knew that it was safe for us to smell and taste, as we needed more information. The blue liquid had a very slight smell, and it tasted a bit like pond water.

Classroom Emergency By Kayleigh.

This morning there was a terrible disaster in C6. When the bell rang, we were all sitting on the mat. Suddenly Dizarah-Lee vomited on the carpet. Then Mrs Caudwell had to send Tyler to get Matua Eric to clean the carpet, and Tahlia-Rose took Dizarah-Lee to the sick- bay. It smelt really, really bad. By Kayleigh.

Talent Quest

Last week it was the Glenholme School Talent Quest. My favourite one was the Polynesian Dance. The costumes were fantastic. I heard singing, music, and instruments. I felt really proud for the people who entered. The judges were head girl from Girl's High School , and the head boy from Boy's High School. Adrian came first.

In the holidays, Kayleigh was in the Daily Post. She went to Take A Kid Fishing at the Ngongotaha Trout Hatchery with her Dad and hr big brother. She caught a tagged rainbow trout, so she won a fly fishing rod, and a beanie. In the paper, it said that she was 'stoked.' That means she was very happy.
